My top 10 iPhone apps
I’ve recently got my site back, so I thought I’ll start off blogging about my top 10 iPhone apps.

1. Angry Birds
Angry Birds is my favourite app for my iPhone. Basically you swipe (using your finger) and fire birds at little pig things, I know it sounds pretty boring but It’s actually really good. :P I play the game all the time, like on the bus to college, I love it; I’m addicted. The application currently costs £0.69, however there is a free version available which is great too.
2. VEVO
Vevo is a free music video app, where you can watch and preview music related videos. These include exclusive music videos, live musical performances. The app is really great becuase you can connect via 3G, as well as wifi so you can still watch all your favourite videos in 3G when you’re out. I use VEVO all the time and it’s also free!
3. Jelly Car
Jelly car is a brilliant game. The main point is to get your car (made of jelly) to the end of the track, but as I mentioned your car is made of jelly so it’s not as easy as it sounds. The game is really addictive and you’ll be playing until your fingers drop off. :(( The game is free and well worth downloading.
4. Starbucks
The Starbucks app is really handy for when you’re out. The application can tell you where all the Starbucks are near you, how far away they are and if they’re open or closed. The app also tells you about specific drinks and produces Starbucks produces. I don’t use the app all the time because I’m not always near a Starbucks (How can’t you be, I know! :P ) The app is free so if you enjoy Starbucks you should download it!
5. iMovie
“iMovie makes it easy to turn your home videos into your all-time favorite films.” You can take all your pictures, videos and music add them to a timeline and put them together like a movie . (All on your iPhone!) It’s really handy if you want to make a movie and you can be really creative with it. The app is the most expensive on the list at £2.99, but if you will use it often it’s worth it.
6. Facebook
Facebook Is probably one of the most downloaded apps on the list. Everyone I know with an iPhone has the Facebook app, so it’s not very unique but I thought I’d include it anyway, because I use it a lot. The new update for iOS5 makes Facebook really nice to use and accessible. You’ll already know what it is and that it’s free so that’s it on Facebook!
7. Flixster
The Flixster movie app is really handy; It can tell you when your film is on (at the cinema), what cinema will show it, how far it is away, how much it will be and all the information you’ll need to know about seeing a movie at the cinema. I don’t use the app often because I’m not much of a movie-goer, however it’s a really good idea. The application is free too!
8. 4oD
This one is only for UK iPhone users. 4oD lets you watch all the shows from channel 4 on your iPhone. It is a nice idea to be able to watch TV shows on your iPhone, free, but the app only works with a wifi connection so if you’re planning to watch something on a trip or when you’re out think again! The app is free so I can’t complain.
9. BBC News
The BBC News app lets you read all the latest news wherever you are. You can customise your homepage so you can view the news that you’re interested in first, you do this by category, for example, Education or UK News. The app is nice to view with a simple design and useful too.
It’s also free so that’s good news too! (LOL)
10. Twitter
Twitter on iPhone lets you do most the features that you can do on the web version. Again, like Facebook, the application is really popular and already integrated with iOS5 so I’m sure you already know what it’s about. I don’t use Twitter that much but it’s helpful when I do tweet. Obviously it’s free!
That’s my top 10 iPhone apps. Do you like/use any of them do you have any of your own suggestions? Merry Christmas!
